Post natal visits can commence during your hospital stay or once you are home.

A visit covers weighing your baby, assisting with any feeding issues you may be encountering (breast or bottle), assistance with bathing the newborn, how to change a diaper, care of the umbilical cord etc.

Each post natal visit lasts 2-3 hours depending on the mother’s needs at the time. Visits are encouraged in order for me to pick up on any underlying issues you may have such as an incorrect latch (while breastfeeding), post natal depression and to help create a supportive environment between the mother and father.
